Lady Hawk Coach to interview formally on Wednesday

WIU OFFICIALLY COURTING QUINCY UNIVERSITY'S JD GRAVINA FOR WOMENS BASKETBALL VACANCY

The assumed front runner for the Western Illinois Womens Basketball vacancy, J.D. Gravina confirmed to KHQA Friday morning that he is a finalist in the search process.

The successful Lady Hawk skipper said that he has a formal interview scheduled for Wednesday on campus at Macomb and that he is looking forward to the process of finding out it he is a good fit for WIU and vice versa.

Gravina had an informal meeting with WIU Athletic Director Tim VanAlstine at the Womens Final Four as well.

No word at this point on other possible finalists.
