Back in the national tournament for the first time since 2006, the C-SC Wildcats hope to start with a bang against Missouri Baptist.

Thanks to a scheduling quirk, Culver-Stockton had to do away with their annual gas saving, logistically logic, non-conference meeting with Missouri Baptist this spring. Yet as fate would have it, the Spartans will serve as obstacle number one in the Wildcats' quest for a baseball national title on Thursday.

Then again, a battle between the #14 and #25 teams in the country may well be worth the road trip when the NAIA Tournament kicks off. Click above to hear from Wildcats coach Chris Terry and his players as they prep for the postseason.
