Hobbled, Yet Hopeful: Injuries Not Getting the Better of QND

With Nick Weiman, Luke Hinkamper and Chad Thompson among others all spending time on the sidelines at some point this season with injuries, the fourth ranked Raiders are still ready for their home stretch.

The injury issues at running back have been so bad that Quincy Notre Dame has essentially had to call up the farm team in the offensive backfield the last three weeks.

During last Friday's win, Bill Connell had as many as six sophomores on the field at one time. Prior to the game, he even told those same kids before they hit the field, "If you have to think of this as a JV game...do whatever it takes."

Whatever the thinking, it has worked so far.
