LEENERTS SEEKS TO REDEEM AN INJURY RIDDLED CAREER AT QUINCY HIGH

Due to injury issues, hers has been one of the most star crossed careers in Tri State Sports.

But while concussion concerns all but wiped out Anna Leenerts senior season of basketball, she did provide one of the year's most poignant moments.

A spot start on Senior Day (with an assist from Fort Madison Coach Todd McGhghy agreed not to guard her) gave her one last chance to finish her career on a high note with a final three point shot, before she quickly checked back out of the game.

As it turns out, however, Anna isn't quite done writing the story.
