LAKE FOREST, ILL. (AP) -- Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said Wednesday that he wants to stay in Chicago, but the Pro Bowler made it clear he wants the best deal possible.
Briggs and the Bears already had one heated contract negotiation, and he's about to become an unrestricted free agent.
And Briggs said Wednesday that he can see himself in a lot of different uniforms but that he can see himself in a Chicago uniform if things work out that way, which he hopes they will.
Briggs says he's given his heart to Chicago.
