MACOMB, ILL. (AP) -- David Jackson scored a game-high 23 points to lead Western Illinois to a 75-52 win over South Dakota State Thursday night.
James Washington added 15 points and Jerryck Owens-Murrey added 10 points for Western Illinois, which led 28-19 at the half.
South Dakota State fell behind on miserable first-half shooting.
The Jackrabbits were 7-for-26 from field-goal range and 1-for-7 from 3-point range before the break.
Garrett Callahan led South Dakota State with 12 points. Kai Williams and Dale Moss each added 10 points for the Jackrabbits.
