BRADEN DAMON,

Pleasant Hill Football

GPA: 3.6

Class Rank: 6th

College: Central Methodist

Intended Major: Undecided (but looking at Veterinary Medicine as a possible option)

He was not only one of Tri State Football's most dominant and active Linemen...but if the MaxPreps Website is to be believed, among the nation's highest volume tacklers at Defensive Tackle.

Unfortunately, Braden Damon's stellar Senior Season was cut short at Pleasant Hill by a knee injury, but it's hard to diminish the giant positive impact Big Number 68 had for Wolves Football...and beyond over the last four years; even in the wake of his own personal bad break.

Braden Damon:"It was really tough. I only had two games I had to sit out but it was tough enough. Just something you've got to get through. Get better. Get healed up."

Braden Damon has ample incentive to push forward past the knee injury as one of the key pieces of a strong recruiting class at Central Methodist.

Braden Damon: "I'm from a small town so I look for that in a college. It just had a great feel, made me feel like part of a family."

Given his emergence as a true impact Tackle in his Senior Season, Braden's raw potential and his desire to improve himself will make him a most welcome member of that Eagle Family...

Braden Damon on keys to his improvement: "More aggression (on my part) was definitely necessary. I watched a lot of game film; noticed I need to do that. Footwork. Getting Quicker. Stronger...more determination"

That latter attribute has made Braden a formidable force in the Classroom as well and someone who works tirelessly to be a real credit to the Pleasant Hill community.

Braden Damon: "I focus a lot on time management skills. You always got to keep things straight. School comes first. Then Football.."

Duerr: "Leadership is a big thing for you. I know you were a Team Captain; a guy who tried to set the right example going forward, even when you could not play. Why did it matter for you to leave a positive legacy walking out the door, from a Football standpoint?"

Braden Damon: "I am a third generation Wolf. My Grandpa. My Dad. And it's just something you want to see: The Program succede."
