Bulls 96, Timberwolves 85

CHICAGO (AP) -- Kirk Hinrich scored 27 points and Andres Nocioni added 18 as the Chicago Bulls downed Minnesota 96-85.

Hinrich was the game's top scorer despite missing 11 of his first 12 shots. He scored 12 points in the third quarter as the Bulls built a 71-62 lead.

Timberwolves guard Randy Foye made his season debut after missing the first 43 games because of a stress reaction in his left kneecap. Foye scored 11 points in 17 minutes.

Al Jefferson had 20 points for the Wolves, who had won three of their previous four.
