XATIVA, Spain (AP) — Slovenian rider Borut Bozic has won the sixth stage of the Spanish Vuelta, and Andre Greipel kept his overall lead by finishing 10th.
Bozic, who rides for Vacansoleil, crossed the finish line of the 109-mile stage around Xativa in 4 hours, 40 minutes, 51 seconds.
American rider Tyler Farrar finished second in the same time, as did third-place Daniele Bennati of Italy.
Greipel remained six seconds ahead of Tom Boonen of Belgium after crossing 10th in the same time. Boonen was fifth.
