KEN SCHUSTER FIRED AS WEST HANCOCK GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH

Two seasons removed from hoisting a state championship, Ken Schuster is out as the West Hancock Titan Girls Basketball Coach.

Schuster, the reigning KHQA Coach of the Year, was ousted by a 6-1 vote and told that the school "wanted to go in a new, fresh direction"

Schuster spent 13 seasons helming various incarnations of the Nauvoo Colusa and West Hancock teams, winning a state championship with the Titans in 2008, a state second place trophy in 2009, and being ousted in the Sectional Finals by eventual 2010 State Runner Up Quincy Notre Dame.
