Ten years ago this week, Carthage and LaHarpe Northwestern were preparing to their incredible football rivalry to the biggest stage in the state of Illinois.

Who would have thought, at the time, that the Blueboys and Thunder would ever find a way to co-exist in the same county, let alone come together into a single cohesive football entity...

And who could have imagined that it would it work out this well.
