He was probably the most glaring, unforgivable omission from this year's Illinois High School Football Coaches All State squad.

After all, Ace Henricks held down multiple roles for a Brown County team that went from a preseason projection as the third best team in the WIVC...to the number one ranked team in the entire state; and a first ever Final Four berth.

But for all of his athletic attributes, the Hornet Senior's biggest contributions to the cause may well have been intangibles; particularly his leadership.
