PLAYING WITH HOUSE MONEY: UNDERVALUED SAUKEES HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE IN PEORIA THIS WEEKEND

The Class 2A Final Four features teams ranked first, second, and seventh in the final AP Boys Basketball Poll.

Two of those squads hit Peoria undefeated, the other, Hales Franciscan, the de facto favorite in many peoples minds to hoist a title with two first team All Staters in tow.

Against that backdrop, unranked Pittsfield may seem a little out of place.

Which is just fine by the Saukees, who really seem to relish the role of giant killer these days.
