Tuesday night the Hannibal City Council approved a resolution to enter into a contract to dredge the city's marina.Crews now will remove about fifteen hundred cubic yards of silt from the Nipper Park Marina.

Levee repairs underway
Monday, November 24, 2008
Work is underway to rebuild the levees broken during this year's flooding.Right now the Army Corps of Engineers and area contractors are dredging sand from the river and reconstructing the levee here at the levee breaks near Lock and Dam 20 and North of the Ferry landing.
