HANNIBAL, MO. -- The Hannibal Fire Department was called to 1106 Hill St. in Hannibal where a house caught fire during the storm Tuesday.

They were able to knock the fire down quickly.

There was not much damage to the exterior of the house.

We were able to confirm that the fire was weather related.

Meanwhile, crews from the Hannibal Board of Public works had to respond to numerous calls of wires down and tree limbs across wires.

Crews were working on a problem just west of the intersection of West Ely and Hwy. 61

Finally, there was also an area further west on West Ely where a tree limb fell across the road blocking the road for awhile, but taking a power line with it.
