PIKE COUNTY, ILL. -- A Nebo man died early Saturday morning after a rollover crash in Pike County, Ill.
The Pike County Sheriff's Department says 28-year-old Brian M. Walston appeared to have lost control of his Pontiac Grand Prix while heading eastbound on County Highway 10, about a mile west of Nebo. Walston's car hit a guardrail and left the roadway before overturning in a nearby field.
Deputies say Walston was coming home from work when the crash happened just before 5:30 a.m.
Walston was transported to Illini Community Hospital before being air lifted to Blessing Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
