Police investigate Hannibal shooting

HANNIBAL, MO. -- Police in Hannibal are still searching for a man wanted in a Hannibal shooting that left a Kansas City, Mo. man hospitalized.

Martez Peete, 25, is wanted in the shooting of the 38-year-old man who was hospitalized after the shooting in the 400 block of North Arch Street.

Hannibal police didn't rlease victim's name, but added that the incident was an isolated incident between the suspect and the victim.

The shooting took place shortly before 7 p.m. Monday night.

The victim of the shooting was then driven to Canton by a friend.

Police responded to a home in the 600 block of South Fourth Street of Canton where they found him and then transported him to Blessing by ambulance.
