Snow Emergency declared in Macon, Mo.

MACON, MO. -- The City of Macon has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28.

During this time, emergency crews will blade and remove snow from the snow removal streets.

Any vehicle parked on any street designated as a snow removal street needs to be moved prior to 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28. The Police Department is authorized to have vehicles that remain on the street after the designated time removed at the owner's expense.

The City of Macon thanks the citizens for their cooperation.
