MACOMB, ILL. -- Police in Macomb Thursday arrested a man wanted in connected to a prank 911 call, according to a press release.

Alvin Montgomery, 25, of Macomb is charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice after a fake 911 call Wednesday. The caller reported a subject with a gun at 509 W. Murray St.

Montgomery is being held in the McDonough County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. He's also being held on an outstanding Delkalb County, Ill. warrant.

Police are still looking for the female whose voice was heard in the background of the 911 call.

Neighbors evacuated their homes and police blocked a section of Murray Street for several hours during the scare.
