At least one community in the Tri-States implemented a burn ban Tuesday as a result of the high winds.

The National Weather Service issued a red-flag warning for much of the Tri-State area from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here to view the red-flag warning.

Wind and low relative humidity are conducive for the rapid spread and growth of uncontrolled wildfires.

The city of Hannibal issued a burn ban Tuesday morning as a result.

If your community has a burn ban in place, please submit it to news7@khqa.com or fax it to 217-222-5078.
